The Athletics will make their 2025 debut March 27 in Seattle against the Mariners, while working on marketing plans on two fronts — getting a Triple-A ballpark ready in Sacramento for the A’s home-opener March 31 while setting the foundation for the franchise’s future in Las Vegas.

Toward that end, the A’s are holding a season-opener watch party March 27 at Lovelady Brewing Company on Water Street in Henderson.

The Athletics will have staff at the brewery’s watch party to answer questions about the planned stadium for the Strip, where the team is planning a domed stadium with 33,000 capacity on the former Tropicana hotel site at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.

“We’re excited for Opening Day and to host what we hope will be the first of many watch parties in Southern Nevada. Partnering with Lovelady Brewery for this event is a great way to celebrate. They’ll be offering happy hour specials, and we’ve lined up giveaways and special guests,” said Catherine Aker, an A’s spokesperson.

Aker said in the A’s statement: “Throughout the season, fans can tune in to our games on TV and radio, bringing the energy of A’s baseball to Southern Nevada. We also have a full calendar of events lined up this spring, including appearances at farmers markets, festivals, and community events.

“Our efforts are focused on building excitement in both Sacramento and Las Vegas. We’re also hosting a season ticket member event in Sacramento on Opening Day. As our Home Opener approaches on March 31, we look forward to providing a memorable fan experience in West Sacramento over the next three years.”
